Salary: From £89.38 per day
Start Date: Immediate or September 2025
Contract: Full-Time or Part-Time | Term Time Only

About the Role:

We are working with local primary schools across Abergavenny who are seeking friendly, reliable, and committed Teaching Assistants to support pupils in Reception to Year 6. Whether you're supporting small groups or providing 1:1 help for children with additional learning needs, you’ll play a vital role in their academic and social development.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Supporting pupils with literacy and numeracy
  • Helping children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN), including Autism, ADHD, and Speech & Language needs
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
  • Assisting teachers with classroom organisation and learning resources
  • Promoting a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children (in school, care, playwork, or youth settings)
  • A positive, patient, and proactive attitude
  • Enhanced Child DBS (or willingness to apply through us)
  • EWC registration (Teaching Assistant category) or willingness to register
