Meadowfield Primary School in Leeds is seeking a caring Teaching Assistant (SEND) for term-time, part-time hours (27.5 + 3.75 MSA). The role supports children with additional needs to build confidence and independence within a friendly, inclusive environment.
You will work with the SEND team, guided by the SENDCo and Assistant Headteacher, and contribute to lunchtime supervision while ensuring safe, positive school life for all pupils.
Term-Time only. Part Time 27.5 hours per week and 3.75 hours per week MSA, Monday to Friday 8:45am-3:15pm

Are you passionate about helping children thrive and reach their potential? We are looking for a caring and dedicated Teaching Assistant (SEND) to join our friendly and inclusive school community. This is a rewarding role where you will support children with additional needs to build confidence, develop independence and experience success in both their learning and wider school life.
The role also includes Midday Supervisory Assistant (MSA) duties, supporting pupils during lunchtime and helping to create a safe, positive and inclusive environment throughout the school day.
You will be part of a supportive SEND team, working alongside experienced colleagues and benefiting from guidance from our SENDCo and Assistant Headteacher. We work closely together, sharing knowledge, celebrating achievements and ensuring every member of the team feels valued and supported. Our SEND team delivers a range of enriching activities tailored to children's individual needs and interests, including sensory exploration, outdoor learning, cooking and life skills sessions. We are committed to ensuring all children can fully participate in school life, making adaptations where needed so that everyone can enjoy whole-school events, trips and enrichment opportunities.
