Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing one-to-one behaviour support to a Key Stage 2 child, fostering a positive and supportive relationship.
• Implementing tailored strategies to manage and improve the child's behaviour.
• Assisting with the child's academic, social, and emotional development.
• Working closely with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals to create and follow an effective support plan.
• Monitoring and recording the child's progress and adapting support as necessary.
• Promoting a safe and inclusive environment that encourages the child's engagement and participation.

Requirements:

• Experience supporting children or adults in a similar capacity.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children with behavioural needs.
• Commitment to a long-term role to provide stability and consistency for the child.
• Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant/SEN qualification is desirable but not essential.
