Job summary

Aspire People is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs and help them thrive in an educational setting.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about SEN, proactive, patient, reliable and committed to working five days per week. An enhanced DBS on the Update Service is ideally held, and prior experience supporting children with SEN is desirable.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates a genuine passion for supporting children with SEN.
• Proactive, enthusiastic attitude and ability to use initiative.
• Patient, caring and nurturing approach to pupils.
• Reliable and able to commit to working 5 days per week.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with additional needs to help them thrive in an educational setting.
• Assist in promoting development and well-being of learners with SEN.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to implement individual education plans where applicable.
