Aspire People is actively recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with a range of needs across local schools in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. You will help pupils overcome barriers and thrive in inclusive classroom settings.

Role involves working with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals to deliver targeted support and adapt strategies for individual learners, contributing to a safe and supportive learning environment.

Qualificações

• SEN experience in schools or care settings is preferred.
• Team Teach, Makaton, PECS or similar training is desirable.
• Calm, patient and resilient approach is essential.
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one is required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs.
• Support learning, communication, and emotional regulation in class.
• Assist with personal care where required under guidance.
• Help implement behaviour and learning support plans.
• Work alongside teachers, SENCOs and external professionals.
• Create a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment.

What we're looking for:

• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
