Job summary

Aspire People is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs and help them thrive in an educational setting in Leicester. The role requires a proactive, positive attitude and a genuine desire to make a difference.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, enthusiastic, patient, and reliable, with a commitment to working five days per week. An enhanced DBS on the Update Service is ideally required to support safeguarding and pupil welfare.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEN.
• Willing to work five days per week.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with additional needs in classroom activities to promote participation and learning.
• Foster a patient, nurturing environment to help pupils reach their full potential.
• Assist with safeguarding and welfare and support inclusive practices across the school.
