A school and college in Burgess Hill is seeking a dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a positive and friendly community, committed to providing individualised care and learning for students aged 2 to 19, including those with autism.

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll be instrumental in creating a positive and engaging learning experience. You will:

  • Provide individualised care and learning support to students, acting as a Pupil Champion for their academic, social, emotional, and personal care needs.
  • Collaborate with staff and therapists to deliver a highly personalised curriculum.
  • Foster an inclusive community where students feel happy and supported.
  • Contribute to an environment that encourages all students to achieve their full potential and makes learning exciting and accessible.
