Teaching Assistant PRU in Salford

Axcis is looking to recruit an experienced Teaching Assistant for a PRU secondary school in Salford. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to young students. The role involves working with small groups of secondary age pupils, assisting them with their needs, and providing general in-class support for students in KS3 with SEMH and complex needs.

Details:

• Mornings only, including lunchtime cover (8.30am-1.00pm)
• Start date: September
• Daily rate: £83.40 to £100, depending on experience

Requirements:

• Experience working in a secondary school as a teaching assistant
• Previous experience with pupils with SEMH & challenging behaviour
• Experience in a PRU school is preferred but not essential
• This role suits someone who thrives working with young people with challenging behaviour and who can be a positive role model
