Job summary

TimePlan Education Group LTD are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to start asap on an ongoing long-term assignment at an all-girls secondary school in East London. The role involves supporting students with mild learning difficulties, providing personal care, and requiring a manual handling certificate.

You will plan and deliver 1:1 and group sessions, with mediation and workshops as needed. The school is part of the World Class Schools network, located centrally with access to CPD for staff

A high achieving all-girls school based in East London are looking to secure a Learning Asssistant/ Academic Mentor to start asap on an ongoing long term assignment.

The school

Learning Mentor/ Academic Mentor

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Learning Support Assistant to start asap on an ongoing assignment. The role will be supporting children who need additional support mostly across core subjects due to mild learning difficulties. This role will also involve person care and require the successful person to have a manual handling certificate!

The main duties will include:

• Working closely with relevant staff to identify and address needs of students requiring help to overcome barriers to learning.
• To plan, deliver and evaluate 1:1, group sessions, mediation and workshops with identified students as required.
