Vision for Education Ltd in Newcastle Upon Tyne is seeking a Teaching Assistant for a part-time, temporary position from September 2026 to July 2027. The role covers Year 2 and Year 6, with responsibilities across KS1/KS2 and differentiated support for pupils, including SEND.

Teaching Assistant - (Part-time, Temporary)

£462.80 - £475 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role

A Primary School situated close to Newcastle City Centre are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their highly motivated team on a part-time basis. This role is two days per week on a Monday and Thursday, covering across Year 2 and Year 6. Prior experience of supporting within KS1 and KS2 would be beneficial for this role. This is an excellent opportunity for a TA seeking a part-time role at a school with excellent public transport routes.

Requirements

• Have experience of working within KS1 and KS2.
• Hold a Level 2 Teaching Qualification or above.
• Have an ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Have a friendly and enthusiastic personality.
• Have an ability to offer differentiated learning and support pupils with SEND.
