Vision for Education Ltd is recruiting a Teaching Assistant for a full-time, temporary role in Sunderland. The successful candidate will provide general classroom support to a Year 2 class, working alongside the teacher and delivering some interventions to individuals and small groups.

The role is due to start ASAP and run until July 2027. The school welcomes passionate, nurturing applicants who are committed to helping pupils learn, progress and build confidence.

Qualifications

• Experience of working within KS1.
• Experience of working with pupils with SEND.

Responsibilities

• Provide general classroom support and assist the class teacher.
• Deliver interventions with individuals and small groups.

£462.80 - £500 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role

A lovely small primary school in Easington is seeking a reliable and committed full-time Year 2 Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. You'll provide general classroom support, working alongside the class teacher and delivering some interventions with individuals and small groups. The school has a very supportive SLT and offers a welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will be nurturing, enthusiastic and committed to helping pupils learn, progress and build confidence.

Requirements

The desired Teaching Assistant will have;

• Experience of working within KS1.
• Experience of working with pupils with SEND.
• A passion for the progress of pupils.
• An ability to work as part of a team.
