Job summary

Class Education is seeking a part-time Teaching Assistant to support a Primary School in Lydney. You will assist across year groups, helping pupils engage with their learning and build confidence.

The role requires someone who is flexible, patient, nurturing and capable of forming positive relationships with children and staff. Start ASAP, with hours 9:00am to 1:00pm, Monday to Friday until October half term.

Previous school or education experience is ideal but not essential for the right person.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and adaptable Teaching Assistant who enjoys working with children across different year groups and can quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

The Role

• Position: Teaching Assistant
• Hours: 9:0am – 1:0pm
• Days: Part time
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: Until October half term
• Location: Lydney

You will work across the school, supporting different classes and helping pupils to engage positively with their learning. The role would suit someone who is flexible, patient, nurturing and confident working with children of different ages and abilities.

• Has experience working with children, ideally within a school or education setting
• Is enthusiastic, reliable and adaptable
• Can confidently support pupils both independently and as part of a team
