Job summary

Tenacres First School in Redditch is seeking a Teaching Assistant to Grade 1 to support 4–9-year-olds. The post is 30 hours per week, term-time only plus training hours, and a temporary appointment linked to a named child. Salary is £18,243–£18,529 per year, with a start as soon as possible.

The successful applicant will assist teachers, engage children in learning, manage behaviour, and contribute to a nurturing, safe school environment. DBS checks and safeguarding training are required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in the 4–9 age range is desirable.
• Ability to support teachers and contribute to a positive classroom environment.
• Committed to Safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.
