Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work 1:1 with pupils requiring additional support to reach their potential. You will provide structured 1:1 support, help pupils engage with lessons, understand instructions and stay focused.

You will collaborate with teachers and SEN staff, contribute to individual support plans and monitor progress, while demonstrating patience, empathy and a positive attitude in a busy classroom.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in education, childcare, or support work.
• Patient and empathetic approach.
• Ability to follow behaviour and learning support plans.
• Enhanced DBS, or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide structured 1:1 support to the pupil.
