Job summary

Birdham CE Primary School is seeking a friendly and proactive Teaching Assistant to work across the school, supporting a class teacher in KS1/KS2 and aiding lunchtime supervision as a Midday Meals Supervisor. The role is term-time only, 32 hours per week, with a temporary contract for two years and potential to become permanent.

The successful candidate will inspire pupils, be well organized, and able to work as part of a small team within a church school ethos.

Qualifications

• Experience as a teaching assistant in a primary school.
• Experience supporting KS1 or KS2 pupils.
• Ability to support a class teacher and contribute to a Christian ethos.
• Willingness to work term-time only and across the school.

£26,427 to £26,847pro rata (TA) and £25, 614 pro rata (MDMS)

32 Hours Per Week (8:30-15:30) Term-Time Only

Temporary for 2 years with the potential to become permanent

The Governors are seeking a friendly, approachable and flexible person to work with supporting a class teacher in one of our classes. Therefore, experience as a teaching assistant in a primary school is absolutely essential. Although this is a temporary position for two years, it may become permanent.

• well organized and can take the initiative

• keen to work effectively as part of a small team

• experienced in working in a KS1 or KS2 class
