Job summary

Charters School is seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a large, supportive team. You will help pupils with learning activities and work alongside teachers to raise attainment across the curriculum. The role includes small-group interventions and potential personal care, with full training provided.

Hours are 8:30am–3:00pm (5.5 hours per day), with two 30-minute breaks. Salary is calculated pro-rata for fewer than five days; 4 days may be considered for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant with a supportive approach.
• Interest in contributing to the learning and development of students; able to follow classroom guidance and adapt to pupil needs.
• Role may involve providing personal care to a student; full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Support students' independent learning through clear explanations and guidance.
• Lead small group interventions in Literacy, Numeracy, and social-emotional skills.
• Work closely with classroom teachers to extend learning opportunities across the school.
