Job summary

South Brent Primary School is seeking a permanent Teaching Assistant to work 22.5 hours per week over 39 weeks. The role focuses on supporting learning, welfare and personal care for pupils, including those with SEND, and delivering literacy and numeracy interventions.

Qualifications

• Experience working with or caring for children of a relevant age.
• Enhanced DBS disclosure is required.
• Right to work in the UK with no restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils' welfare and personal care, including those with SEND.
• Implement literacy and numeracy interventions.
• Support learning in classroom and small-group settings under guidance of teaching and senior staff.
• Assist with planning cycles and prepare learning resources.
• Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupil independence.
• Assist with supervision during break and lunchtimes.
• Accompany pupils on trips when required.
