Job summary

Tinsley Meadows Primary School, part of Five Rivers Multi Academy Trust, is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support high quality learning and pupil wellbeing. The post is 34 hours per week across 39 weeks and is a permanent appointment.

The role offers ongoing professional development, a supportive leadership team and a strong focus on safeguarding and inclusion to raise attainment and ensure a safe learning environment for all pupils.

Qualifications

  • 5 GCSEs including Maths and English (grade 4-9) or equivalent
  • TA2 qualification or equivalent or relevant experience
  • TA3 qualification or equivalent or relevant experience

JOB TITLE: Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Permanent

BASE: Tinsley Meadows Primary School

EMPLOYER: Five Rivers Multi Academy Trust

HOURS: 34 hours per week - (39 weeks per year)

GRADE / SALARY: TA3 Grade 3 Pt 7-12 £26,402 - £28,598 (Pro Rata - £20,868 - £22,603).

Tinsley Meadows Primary Academy are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Level 3 Teaching Assistant who can support a high quality, safe learning experience underpinned by high expectations for our children.

All successful candidates will be required to complete an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check. The DBS check will reveal both spent and unspent convictions, cautions, and bind-overs as well as pending prosecutions, which are not "protected" under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975. We will use the DBS check to ensure we comply with the Children Disqualification Regulations.
