Job summary

Springwood Primary (Craig Hall Site) is seeking 2 full-time and 1 part-time Level 3 Teaching Assistants on permanent contracts to join our team at the Craig Hall (Irlam) site.

Springwood is a large primary age Special School serving pupils with moderate, severe and complex needs. The posts require commitment to inclusion, working with pupils with challenging behaviour, and supporting professional development within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with primary-age children with complex needs.
• Ability to promote inclusion for all pupils.
• Ability to work as part of a team to create a supportive learning environment.

We are seeking to appoint 2 full time and 1 part time Level 3 Teaching Assistants on a permanent contract to join our team based at our Craig Hall (Irlam) site.

Springwood is a large primary age Special School (375 pupils aged 5 11) based over a number of sites, which caters for pupils with moderate, severe and complex needs.

Springwood is part of the Link Education Trust.

• Are you interested in supporting primary age children with complex needs to achieve their potential?
• Will you ensure that all our pupils are included and supported to develop whatever their special educational needs or behaviour challenges?
• Can you work as part of a team to provide an appropriate learning environment for our pupils?
• Do you want to learn new skills and participate in your own professional development?
• Previous experience of working with young people of school age who may have challenging behaviour and complex needs, preferably within an educational setting.
• Are you ready to develop your skills and expertise to lead groups of pupils?
• Do you have the drive to develop your skills and expertise in a nominated area of specialist communication?
