Crumpsall Lane Primary School in Manchester seeks a caring EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our federation of two large primary schools.

You will support high-quality early years learning, work with a talented team, and help children develop confidence, independence and a love of learning.

The post is permanent, full-time (35 hours per week, term-time plus inset days) with DBS and safeguarding responsibilities.

Location and Schools

Crumpsall Lane and Crab Lane area Federation of two large primary schools with over 400 pupils aged from 3-11 in each school.

We are looking for an experienced EYFS TA3 to join our Federation and work with the team at Crumpsall Lane initially. The post is permanent.

Job Summary

We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, reliable and dedicated Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team.

You Will Need:
  • Recent and relevant experience of leading a Key group in EYFS either Reception or Nursery

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage children in purposeful play and learning activities, both indoors and outdoors.

  • Promote children's personal, social and emotional development, encouraging independence, resilience and positive relationships.
  • Observe children's learning and development, contributing to assessments and learning records as directed by the class teacher.
  • Encourage children's curiosity, creativity and exploration through child-initiated and adult-led activities.
  • Help maintain an engaging, stimulating and well-organised learning environment
  • Support children with additional needs, ensuring they can access learning and participate fully in school life.
  • Build positive relationships with parents and carers, contributing to effective home-school communication.
  • Follow school policies and procedures, including safeguarding, health and safety, and confidentiality requirements.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and participate in training and professional development opportunities.
