Job summary

Academics is recruiting Level 3 Teaching Assistants to support a number of vibrant primary schools across Calderdale. Roles available across Halifax and the Calder Valley, with both full-time and part-time options to fit your availability and experience.

You will assist educators in early years and key stage settings, manage classroom behavior, support learning activities, and contribute to children's development.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Experience supporting learning in a primary school setting (EYFS, KS1 or KS2).
• Positive, flexible and proactive approach.
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
• Genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Support learning across Calderdale primary schools.
• Assist teachers and contribute to classroom activities.
• Help manage behaviour and support individual learners.
• Contribute to children's development and progression.
