Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is seeking a Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a friendly school in Stanley, DH9. The role is full-time and temporary, running from September 2026 to July 2027, with hours 8.30am to 3.30pm, five days a week. The successful candidate will support in the pre-school room and assist children with SEND.

£462.80 - £475 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role

We are looking for a Level 3 Early Years Assistant to work in a friendly school in Stanley, DH9. Workingas part of an established team, the Early Years Assistant will be supporting within the pre-school room, including supporting children with SEND. The role would be 5 days a week, 8.30am - 3.30pm. A Level 3 qualification relating to Childcare / Early Years would be essential. The school has a supportive senior leadership team and can be accessed on public transport.

Requirements

The desired Level 3 Teaching Assistant will have;

• Experience of working with primary school aged children
• Experience of working with pupils with SEND
• A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
• An ability to work as part of a team
