Job summary

Christ the King RC Primary School in Manchester is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant on a part-time, permanent contract to support pupils with varying needs. You will work closely with teachers to enable full access to learning, promote inclusion and contribute to a supportive school community.

The role requires a Level 3 TA qualification, safeguarding checks and a commitment to the well-being and development of all children within a Catholic school setting. Start date 1 October 2026.

Qualifications

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification required.
  • Appointment subject to enhanced DBS checks and standard pre-employment safeguarding checks.

Responsibilities
