Job summary

Old Moat, a Catholic primary school in Manchester, is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team. The role is permanent, full-time (35 hours per week), term time only with five training days, starting as soon as possible.

You will support learning across year groups, build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues, and contribute to safeguarding and a nurturing school environment.

About The Role
  • Contract Type: Permanent, Term Time Only plus 5 training days
  • Working Hours: Full Time, 35 hours per week (8.30am to 4pm with half an hour for lunch)
  • Number of positions: 1
  • Start Date: As Soon As Possible
  • Grade: up to TA3, Grade 4 (depending on experience and qualifications)
  • Salary: £25,614 per annum (tto, plus 5 days)

Previous experience in a school or childcare setting is desirable — what matters most is the right attitude and a genuine desire to make a difference.
