Job summary

St Bernadette’s Catholic Primary School in Shevington is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join a supportive team. The role is term-time, 26.25 hours per week, with hours 9:00am–3:15pm and a 1-hour lunch break.

You may work across KS1 and KS2, supporting pupils and contributing to individual education plans. Essentials include a Level 2 TA qualification (or comparable experience), experience with children, good literacy/numeracy, and safeguarding knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children in an education setting.
• Basic literacy and numeracy levels expected.
• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or comparable experience.
• Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils and support access to learning activities.
• Assist with individual education/behaviour plans.
