Job summary

Sidegate Primary School in Ipswich is seeking two caring and committed Teaching Assistants to support learning, inclusion and wellbeing under the guidance of teachers. The roles are part-time and permanent, with 32.5 hours per week during term time plus 38.2 weeks per year.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals and small groups to access learning and progress.
• Deliver planned activities under teacher guidance, tailoring support to pupils' needs.
• Promote inclusion, independence, positive behaviour and engagement in learning.
• Support pupils' social, emotional and personal development, including basic personal care where required.
• Monitor and communicate pupil progress with staff, families and external professionals.
