Job summary

Sidegate Primary School in Ipswich is seeking two caring Teaching Assistants to join our welcoming primary team. You will work closely with teachers to support learning, inclusion and pupil wellbeing, helping pupils including those with additional needs to overcome barriers and make meaningful progress.

Hours are Monday to Friday 8:30-3:30pm (32.5 hours), term time plus 38.2 weeks. Salary: ALT Grade D £19,349.38 - £19,809.06 Annually Actual. Previous EYFS experience is desirable.

  • Support individuals and small groups to access learning and make progress.
  • Deliver planned learning activities under teacher guidance, adapting support to pupils' needs.
  • Promote inclusion, independence, positive behaviour and engagement in learning.
  • Support pupils' social, emotional and personal development, including personal care where required.
  • Monitor, record and communicate pupil progress, working closely with staff, families and external professionals where appropriate.

Weare looking for two caring and committed Teaching Assistant's to join SidegatePrimary School, a welcoming primary school in Ipswich where children areencouraged to learn, grow and achieve within a supportive community. In thisrewarding role, you will work closely with teachers to support learning,inclusion and wellbeing, helping pupils, including those with additional needs,to overcome barriers and make meaningful progress. Previousexperience working within an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) environment isdesirable.
