Chatburn Church Of England School in Chatburn, Clitheroe, is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant Level 2b to join our caring, popular primary school.

You will support children to achieve their full potential, work as part of a supportive team, and contribute to our Christian values.

This fixed-term post is for 12 months initially, part-time, term-time only, with pro-rata pay; closing date 5 October. The school adheres to safeguarding and safer recruitment policies.

Qualifications

  • GCSE English and Maths grade 4 or above.
  • NVQ level 2 or equivalent appropriate to the post.
  • Experience of working with or caring for children of primary age.
  • Experience of working in a classroom / relevant service environment.
  • Experience of supporting the delivery of Red Rose Letters and Sounds SPP.
  • Experience of leading small intervention groups.

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated, enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistant Level 2b to join our popular and successful Church of England primary school. The successful candidate will be passionate about supporting children to achieve their full potential, committed to our Christian values, and able to work effectively as part of a supportive and hardworking team.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive difference in a nurturing school community where children are at the heart of everything we do.

This post is for a fixed term of 12 months in the first instance, but may be extended depending on funding.

The position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro –rata basis.

Essential Qualifications
  • English and Mathematics GCSE grade 4 or above
Desirable Qualifications
