High Point Academy in Wednesbury is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 2 to support pupils aged 11–16 with Autism Spectrum Conditions and related needs. You will assist in delivering tailored curriculum pathways and helping students access learning in a nurturing environment.

The role is full-time, permanent, term-time only; start ASAP. A compassionate, patient approach and good communication are essential, with NVQ 2 or equivalent desirable. DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• NVQ 2 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualifications or experience (desirable).
• Commitment to safeguarding and supporting pupils with ASC/MLD/SLCN.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils to access the curriculum and learning activities.
• Assist with behaviour management and inclusive classroom routines.
• Contribute to a nurturing and positive learning environment.
