Job summary

Forward Education Trust is seeking three Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join High Point Academy in Wednesbury. The role is part-time, term-time only, with 32.5 hours per week across 39 weeks per year, reflecting the school calendar.

Salary ranges from £25,712 to £27,818 (FTE) plus SEN allowance, with actual salary lower for part-time arrangements. The successful candidate will support pupils aged 11–16 with ASC, MLD and SLCN, under supervision, and contribute to an inclusive, nurturing learning

Qualifications

  • NVQ 2 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualifications or experience would be desirable.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for three Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join Highpoint Academy.

High Point Academy is a specialist setting for pupils aged 11 to 16 with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC), associated Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN). The successful candidate will be subject to all necessary pre-employment checks, including enhanced DBS; Prohibition check; Childcare Disqualification; qualifications, medical fitness; identity and right to work and two references.
