Job summary

Hillside Primary School & Nursery in Ipswich is seeking a Teaching Assistant (Level 2) to join our welcoming and inclusive school community. This part-time, fixed-term role supports learning in the classroom and small groups, helping pupils develop confidence, independence and a love of learning.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, support pupils with SEND and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment while meeting high standards of care and professionalism.

• Support pupils with SEND, personal care, social development and emotional wellbeing where required.
• Prepare learning resources and work collaboratively with staff, parents and external professionals to support pupil success.

Salary: ALT Grade D £19,261.02 - £19,718.61 Annually Actual

We are looking for Teaching Assistant's (Level 2) to join our team at Hillside Primary School & Nursery in Ipswich, a welcoming and inclusive school community where every child is encouraged to achieve their potential. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with teachers, supporting learning both in the classroom and through targeted small group or individual support, while helping pupils develop confidence, independence and a love of learning.
