Job summary

Canon Sharples CE Primary School in Wigan is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant. The role is 30 hours per week during term time (38 weeks per year) with a salary of £17,344 per annum, Grade 3. The successful candidate will support KS2 pupils, work with the class teacher and contribute to a caring, Christian ethos within the school.

The position is temporary until 31 August 2027, with September 2026 start date. Experience in KS2 and the ability to work well in a team are essential.
