Salary Grade D Points 6 to 8 (£25,183 to £25,183 Full Time Equivalent), subject to pro rata. The minimum actual pro rata salary per annum for this job starts at £17,640.27.

Carlton le Willows are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join our academy in July 2025 on a part-time, temporary basis.

Your new role

As a Teaching Assistant Level 2, you will work under the instruction/guidance of teaching/senior staff to undertake work/care/support programmes to enable access to learning for pupils and assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom. You may carry out work in the classroom or outside the main teaching area.

Results

In summer 2024, 80% of students achieved a Grade 5 or above in English, and 63% in Maths. With an overall Progress score of +0.51 and 60% achieving Grade 5 or above in both English and Maths, we are well above similar schools nationally. Our sixth form students also celebrated strong results, with 90% securing a place at their first-choice university.
