Value Education is seeking a motivated TA Level 2 to support pupils in a mainstream primary setting around Burnley. You will work across age groups, assisting teachers and contributing to a caring learning environment.

The role offers weekday, daytime hours with flexibility across Burnley and surrounding areas. An opportunity to develop skills within a busy school community and gain valuable experience.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a classroom setting within a primary school.
• Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification.
• DBS on update service (assistance to obtain if needed).
• Excellent communication with patience and a positive approach toward students.

Responsibilities

• Support individual or small groups to help them reach their potential.
• Prepare the classroom for lessons and activities.
• Record and report student progress to teachers, parents, or carers.
• Lead classroom activities and assist with lesson delivery.

Teaching Assistant - Level 2

Burnley and Surrounding areas

Salary: £93 - £100 per day

Job Type: Monday - Friday from 8:30am until 3:30pm

Start Date: ASAP

Here at Value Education, we are looking for a passionate and impactful Level 2 Teaching Assistant looking to become part of the team. You will be working within a Mainstream Primary School setting, across various age groups in and around the Burnley area.

Due to a high demand of Supply staff, we will be able to work around the location that works best for you.

Your Responsibilities:

• Helping individual and/or groups of students to achieve their full potential in each classroom
• Help to prepare the classroom for whatever may be in store for the class on that lesson
• To record and report back the progress of students to teachers, parents or carers.
• To lead activities within the classroom and assist the teachers with the delivery of lessons.

Qualifications and requirements

• Experience within classrooms within a primary school
• Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification
• DBS on the update service (we will work with you to obtain one if you don't have one)
• Strong communication with patience and a positive approach towards students
