About Us & The Role
At Race Leys Infant School, we cater for children from 4 years to 7 years. We are a happy, forward thinking school, passionate about ensuring all children have access to the highest quality education in a safe and stimulating environment.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and hardworking Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our fantastic team to provide either general classroom support or working with small groups of children with special education needs as when required by the school. This is an exciting time to join the Race Leys Infant School family who are on their journey to improving learning opportunities and provision for the children. Our school community deserves the absolute best and our Co-Headteachers and staff have been on a rapid school improvement journey. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Teaching Assistant to help all of our learners thrive. The contract is permanent to commence at the start of the 25/26 academic year and is term time only with 5 teacher training days per academic year (39 weeks in total). The hours will be 27.5 hours per week, 8.40am – 3.10pm, Monday – Friday.
