Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Hourly Rate: £12.37 - £13.49 per hour
Annual Salary: £22,102.72 - £24,103.93 actual salary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our new school and contribute to its growth and success. We are recruiting several Teaching Assistants to support Year 8/9 & 10 students.
The role:
Your role as a Teaching Assistant will be to support students with their learning and wellbeing. With small class sizes of up to 8 students, you will have the chance to build strong, successful relationships and help each child reach their full potential in a caring, safe environment. Support may include assisting with care needs and positive behaviour management, tailored to each child.
You will establish a warm, caring, and supportive relationship with pupils to make them feel safe and enable them to enjoy and learn. You will promote independence and personal development, maintain high behaviour expectations, support the teaching of a broad curriculum, and help pupils achieve their full potential.

Work hours are: 40 hours per week, term time only. Starting at 8:30 am, finishing at 5 pm on Mondays, 4:30 pm Tuesday to Thursday, and 4 pm on Fridays. Additionally, 2.5 hours per week are allocated for ongoing training and duties.
