Job summary

St Thomas More Catholic Primary School in England is seeking a Level 1 Teaching Assistant to support pupils in their learning journey during term time.

Working 30 hours per week (08:45am-15:15pm, Monday to Friday, lunch unpaid) you will assist the class teacher, help with literacy and numeracy, and contribute to a caring, inclusive environment. Visits welcomed; safeguarding procedures apply.

Qualifications

• Experience as Teaching Assistant
• GCSE English and Maths at least grade 4/C or equivalent, IT competency
• Organised, creative, adaptable and positive attitude
• Committed to teamwork and willing to undertake training
• Able to converse in accurate spoken English with pupils, parents and staff

• Support pupils in their learning journey under the guidance of the teacher
