Job summary

St Thomas More is seeking a Level 1 Teaching Assistant to support pupils in their learning journey. The role runs 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday during term time, with a 1/2 hour unpaid lunch break, and is paid on Salary Scale C point 4 with an actual starting salary of £17,039.

The successful candidate will join a caring school that values high standards and professional development. Applicants from all faiths or none are welcome; visits are warmly welcomed.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant
• Literacy and numeracy GCSE grade 4 (C) or above and IT competency
• Organised and creative
• Adaptable with a positive attitude
• Willing to undertake training
• Ability to converse in English with pupils, parents and staff
