Chorlton High School, as part of the Prospere Learning Trust, is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 1 for a 30-hour week, term-time plus one week. The role supports pupils with learning, wellbeing and development, reporting to teachers and leaders.

Qualifications

• Experience with children of a relevant age.
• Understanding of child development and learning.
• Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths.
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Support access to learning for individuals, small groups and 1:1.
• Prepare classroom resources and provide curricular administrative support.
• Assist with behaviour management and pupil records.
• Attend to pupils’ personal and welfare needs.
