Job summary

Our Lady & St Paul’s RC Primary School in Heywood invites applications for a fixed-term Teaching Assistant Level 1 post, running until August 2027. The role supports pupils’ learning across the primary curriculum as part of a classroom team, liaising sensitively with parents and carers.

Hours are 30 a week, term time plus two days, with opportunities to work across the wider STOCCAT team. Enhanced DBS is required and visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in an educational setting.
• Awareness of the primary school curriculum for the relevant age range.
• Ability to liaise with parents and carers sensitively.
• Ability to work effectively in a classroom team and with colleagues.

Experience
