Job summary

Our Lady & St Paul's RC Primary School in Heywood seeks a Teaching Assistant - Level 1 to support learning and contribute to a caring school community within the STOCCAT Trust. This role emphasizes teamwork, safeguarding, and pupil development in a faith-based setting.

The successful candidate will work within a supportive staff, receive Professional Development opportunities, and participate in a positive school culture focused on inclusion and high expectations for every pupil.

Qualifications

• Has experience of working with children in a paid or voluntary capacity/ in an educational setting.
• Has an awareness and basic knowledge of school curriculum (within specific age range).
• Has the ability to liaise sensitively and effectively with parents and carers, recognising role in pupils' learning.
• Has the ability to work effectively within a team environment, understanding classroom roles and responsibilities.
• Has the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with all pupils and colleagues.
