Job summary

St Bede's Catholic Primary School in Sunderland is advertising a fixed-term Teaching Assistant post until 31 August 2027. It is 26 hours a week during term time plus one week, supporting learning across all primary phases and building relationships with pupils, parents and carers in a Catholic school with a strong ethos.

The successful candidate will have previous TA experience and demonstrate confidence across primary years, excellent numeracy and literacy, good behaviour management, and strong

Job description

This Teaching Assistant post at St Bede's Catholic Primary School, part of the Nicholas Postgate Catholic Academy Trust, is a fixed-term role running to 31 August 2027. The work centres on supporting learning and participation for children across all primary phases, and building relationships with pupils, parents and others involved in their care. It is a 26-hour-a-week post on term time plus one week, in a Catholic school where a commitment to the ethos is expected. Visa sponsorship is not available.
