Job summary

The Regis School is seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support students facing diverse challenges in literacy and numeracy. The role includes mentoring a group of students for up to 45 minutes each morning and supervising breaks with structured activities.

The post holder joins a collaborative team of teachers, HLTAs and Learning Coaches to improve student outcomes. Candidates without A-Levels, a degree or a relevant Level 3 qualification will be supported to enroll and gain the

A-Levels or equivalent are required, or enrollment on a course will be supported after appointment.
A degree or a relevant Level 3 qualification is expected or will be supported to achieve.

Responsibilities

Act as a mentor for a group of students or deliver targeted intervention for up to 45 minutes each morning as required.
Provide literacy and numeracy support in class or withdrawal settings as needed.
Support students during break and lunch times with structured activities.
Work as part of a team of teachers, HLTA's and Learning Coaches in a flexible, collegiate way.
