Job summary

Castle Education is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to support pupils across KS3 and KS4 in a range of secondary school settings in Thirsk and surrounding areas. The role covers general classroom assistance, small-group support, and 1:1 help for students, including those with special educational needs.

You will join a network of schools with flexible day-to-day, full-time or part-time opportunities, and a commitment to safeguarding and professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting pupils in secondary education.
• Ability to work with diverse learner needs, including SEN.
• Reliable and compassionate team player with flexibility for varied school settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom support across KS3 and KS4, including general support, small group work, and 1:1 assistance.
• Adapt to different classroom environments and school needs while maintaining student focus and safety.

Hourly Rate: £14.24 – £16.50
