Job summary

Randstad Education in Bishop's Stortford and surrounding areas is recruiting dedicated Teaching Assistants to support pupils across primary and secondary settings. You will help with lesson delivery, activity setup, and group management.

Ideal candidates have experience with children, a patient, empathetic approach, and strong English and Maths communication. DBS Update Service is preferred, or a new check can be completed. Roles offer local, flexible schedules and weekly PAYE pay.

Qualifications

• Experience with children or young people in schools or similar settings.
• Patient, empathetic and can-do approach to classroom support.
• Good communication in English and Maths.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom teachers with daily lesson delivery, activity setup, and group management.
• Work 1:1 or in small interventions with pupils to boost reading, writing, and numeracy.
• Create an inclusive, encouraging learning environment for all students.
