Job summary

Randstad Education in Bishop's Stortford is recruiting enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support pupils across local primary and secondary schools. You will assist with lessons, run small groups, and help raise reading, writing and numeracy levels.

Role offers flexible scheduling (full-time, part-time or ad-hoc) with weekly pay via PAYE, local placements, and ongoing professional training through a dedicated education consultant.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children or young people in settings such as schools, nurseries, sports coaching, or youth work.
• A patient, empathetic, and "can-do" approach to classroom support.
• Strong communication skills with a good proficiency in English and Maths.
• An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or a willingness to complete a new check).
• Candidates must reside in or within easy commuting distance of Bishop's Stortford (CM23).
