Job summary

Epsom Primary School is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join the team in Epsom. The role is permanent and term-time only (37 weeks per year), with hours 8:30am–3:30pm, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch. You will support learning under a teacher’s guidance and contribute to intervention programmes for pupils.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team, under the direction of the responsible Teacher, support teaching provision, development and implementation of learning for pupils
• Under the guidance of the responsible Teacher, facilitate the learning of individual pupils and groups, setting high expectations and promoting positive attitudes to learning
• Prepare, plan and deliver specific intervention programmes, adjusting activities according to pupil response and need
