Job summary

St James is seeking a part-time teaching assistant to support children across the early years and primary phase. You will work closely with class teachers to deliver engaging activities, foster an inclusive classroom, and supervise lunch breaks.

The role is fixed term with potential to become permanent, offering 32.5 hours per week during term time plus 5 INSET days, with an immediate start for the right candidate.

• Experience supporting children in early years and primary phase.
• Ability to assist with classroom activities, learning and development.
• Willingness to support the Christian ethos of the school.

The position is offered as a fixed term contract with the potential of becoming permanent, working 32.5 hours per week, term time plus 5 INSET days, with a 30-minute lunch break. An immediate start is available for the successful candidate.
