Harbour Schools Partnership is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join Bickleigh-on-Exe C of E Primary School in Devon. You will support pupils’ learning, wellbeing and development in classroom and small-group settings.

Responsibilities include assisting with literacy/numeracy interventions, planning resources, promoting positive behaviour, and supervising breaks or trips. DBS enhanced disclosure is required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with or caring for children in relevant age groups.
• Knowledge of safeguarding practices and strategies to remove barriers to learning.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in spoken English.

Responsabilités

• Support pupils’ welfare and personal care, including those with SEND.
• Implement literacy and numeracy interventions.
• Assist with planning cycles and preparing learning resources.
• Promote positive behaviour and pupil independence.
• Supervise breaks/lunchtimes and accompany pupils on trips when required.
