Job description

Job Title: Teaching Assistant Location: Oldham/Rochdale Pay: Up to £104 per day Contract: Full-time roles available Start Date: Immediate Are you passionate about supporting children and young people in their education? Whether you're experienced in the classroom or looking to take your first step into education, we want to hear from you! We're currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to work in Oldham/Rochdale across mainstream primary and secondary schools, as well as specialist SEN settings. About the Role As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll be a vital part of the classroom – helping to create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment. You'll support students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, often including children with additional needs such as Autism, ADHD, speech and language delays or other learning difficulties. Key Responsibilities - Support students’ learning, emotional wellbeing and social development - Assist with lessons and classroom activities - Help manage behaviour and promote positive engagement - Work closely with teachers to deliver tailored support - Contribute to a welcoming classroom environment What We’re Looking For - A calm, caring and patient approach - Experience or interest in working with children with SEND - Ability to work flexibly across year groups and settings - A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) - Previous school experience is helpful but not essential – full training provided What You’ll Get - Competitive daily pay – up to £104, based on role and experience - Experience across mainstream and SEN provisions - Ongoing training and CPD opportunities - Supportive consultants and career progression routes INDMAN
